Temporary Hiatus

Hello fellow bloggers!

I realize it has been some time since my last post and I’m sure you’re all waiting on bated breath for my next adventure (cough sarcasm cough). But as many of you are aware, we are facing a global pandemic.

I work in healthcare, so my days are quite busy. When I get home, I really don’t feel like sitting in front of my computer and writing out a blog post. I’d much rather get my rest for the next busy day.

So for right now, I will be temporarily taking a hiatus from blogging and reading my fellow bloggers stories. I look forward to catching up on all your adventures when this pandemic starts to calm down.

Until then, practice social distancing. Stay inside at all times. Go for walks, take the kids to the park but just remember to steer clear of people. Continue proper hand washing, this is your best defence! If you’re sick, stay at home. If you’ve just returned from travel (domestic or international), please self-isolate for the recommend 14 days! You do not want to risk the health of those around you, especially those who are at high risk.

For updates on Covid-19, go to reliable sources like the World Health Organization (https://www.who.int/) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (https://www.cdc.gov/). Your local Public Health agencies should also have up-to-date information on their websites.

Let’s do our very best to stop the curve! We have to get this virus under control or our lives will be greatly impacted.

Take care. Stay well. Talk to you all soon… I hope!
